China Electric Ball Valve Manufacturer - Fleyenda Flow

At Fleyenda Flow, we are more than just a valve manufacturer; we are your partner in automated fluid control solutions. As a leading manufacturer of electric ball valves in China, we are committed to integrating precision actuator technology with high-quality valve bodies to deliver stable, efficient, and intelligent products to our global clients. We understand that selecting the right electric ball valve for your application is critical, as it directly impacts the success of your entire system.

How do I select the right Fleyenda Electric Ball Valve?

Choosing the correct electric ball valve is primarily about matching it with the right electric actuator. Fleyenda Flow offers several series of electric actuators designed to meet a wide range of operational demands. Our most representative models are the FLE Series, QT Series, and the Z Multi-turn Series.

  • FLE Series (Compact Type): This is the modern upgrade to our popular QT series. The FLE Series is specifically engineered for applications where space is limited, featuring a more compact design that significantly saves installation space. While smaller, its performance remains robust, delivering up to 2,000 Nm of torque for most standard on/off and modulating applications. If you are looking for high space efficiency and a modern design, the FLE series is your ideal choice.

  • QT Series (High Torque Type): When your valve requires greater actuation force, the QT series is your reliable workhorse. This series is renowned for its powerful torque output, providing up to 5,000 Nm. It is engineered to easily drive larger-diameter or higher-pressure ball valves. Its rugged construction ensures long-term stability in demanding industrial environments.

  • Z Series (Multi-turn Actuator): For applications requiring precise control of the opening angle or for operating very large valves, the Z Series multi-turn actuator is the ultimate solution. Its torque output can reach into the hundreds of thousands of Nm, making it specifically designed for heavy-duty applications like large-scale sluice gates and major pipelines where unparalleled power and control are required.

In summary, begin your selection by assessing your torque requirements and space constraints. Choose the FLE Series if space is limited and torque needs are under 2,000 Nm. Opt for the QT Series if higher torque (up to 5,000 Nm) is necessary. For heavy-duty applications demanding massive torque, select the Z Series.

What is the difference between T-type and L-type three-way ball valves?

When selecting a three-way ball valve, "T-type" and "L-type" are the two most common flow path designs. The difference lies in the shape of the channel inside the ball, which dictates the valve's function.

  • L-Type (90° Port, for Diverting Flow): The L-type ball valve has an L-shaped (right-angle) channel. Its primary function is to divert flow. It connects a common inlet to one of two different outlets. By rotating the valve stem 90 degrees, you can switch the direction of the media from one path to the other. It cannot, however, connect all three ports at once.

  • T-Type (for Diverting, Mixing, or Straight-Through Flow): The T-type ball valve has a T-shaped channel, offering greater flexibility. Like the L-type, it can divert flow. However, depending on its rotational position, it can also be used for mixing (combining flow from two inlets into a single outlet) or for straight-through flow between two opposite ports. It has the ability to connect all three ports simultaneously.

The key to choosing between them is understanding whether your system needs to simply switch the direction of flow (L-type) or if it requires mixing or splitting capabilities (T-type). To help you visualize the difference, we recommend referring to the diagrams below. As always, feel free to contact our technical team for a professional consultation.
